Born in Bordeaux in 1988, Twotma is a French illustrator working with black China ink on white paper. Her style is recognisable for its bold, minimal and naïve brush stroke, inspired by everyday life —ordinary scenes, objects, animals, film or music references, anything that captures her attention in time. Her drawings aim to share an image that is gentle, slightly absurd, sometimes romantic or sarcastic, but always accessible and engaging. Through them, she invites people to remind themselves about pieces of their lives and celebrate the small details.

She began showing her work through street art interventions in Lisbon about ten years ago. Since then, she has collaborated with clothing brands, contributed to magazines, and created numerous commissioned pieces for private clients. Now based in Paris, she sells her work each weekend from her bouquiniste kiosque along the Seine, a place where she also regularly invites other artists to exhibit.
